These events will prep you for Christmas, which will be here before you know it.
1. Get into the Christmas spirit with “A Ceremony of Carols”
Vox Camerata’s line-up of tunes, which date as far back as the 1800s, will get you in a festive mood. But don’t worry – they have contemporary pieces to perform too. Prepare to be moved by their rendition of English composer Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols, which will feature a harpist and soloists from SOTA. 7 Dec, 3.30 pm and 7.30 pm. The Arts House. Tickets at $22 each.
2. Enjoy afternoon tea at the new Cath Kidson store
The brand is celebrating the opening of its new outlet with traditional English tea and nibbles. Aside from your wallets (you want to snag those pretty Cath Kidston items for yourself and as gifts, after all), get your cameras ready as well: Members of the British Royal Guard are on standby for photos. (Kate Middleton is said to be a fan, and has been seen toting their bags during her trips with Prince William.) 7 Dec, 2
