22 dancers, 16 different hand-sewn costumes and lots of hot, saucy dance moves.

Broadway's electrifying ballroom dance production, "Burn the Floor", set to be held in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands theatre for a one-week showing in October, brings all  the passion, sensuality and excitement one has come to expect of latin and ballroom dance.

Performing a wide array of dances including Viennese Waltz, Tango and Jive, the audience is brought through the history of ballroom dance, complete with flips, lifts and stunts.

The professional dancers, who collectively hold more than 100 dance titles, hail from more than 10 different countries.

Speaking to the media at its press conference on Wednesday, Trent Whiddon, who has been with the production since 2002, says that the audience can look forward to their "super high energy" and "addictive charisma".

According to the charming blonde, this is also what sets the production apart from other similar shows.

"Burn the Floor" has sold more than 4 million tickets in more than 30 different countries and have been touring for 12 years.
