Day One kicks off on Friday evening with Filipino blues bands Bleu Rascals.
The three-piece band, led by frontman and lead guitarist Paul Leobrera, who is only 17 , may be young but they won the right to represent Pinoy pride at the festival after an online poll by fans on Yahoo! Philippines OMG.
Grammy-award winning blues artiste Keb Mo takes centrestage after that, followed by legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy, in his sophomore appearance at the local festival.
80s ska-revivalists The Specials are then set to close Friday night with their rock-steady beats and electrifying live performance.
It starts all over again come Day Two on Saturday evening, with the opening set from Indonesian band Andre Harihandoyo and Sonic People, who also topped a Yahoo! online poll to win a coveted spot on the festival line-up.
Local Singapore band The Goodfellas and Malaysia's Dasha Logan then take centrestage before Hugo and Trombone Shorty, in a much-anticipated encore performance from the 2011 edition, follow suit.
Soul-funk superstars and six-time Grammy legends Earth, Wind and Fire are then set to bring the house down with a 90-minute performance sure to involve classic boogie tunes such as "September" and "Let's Groove Tonight".
Combine the rocking music with Timbre's delectable crispy-thin pizzas and buffalo wings and nachos and you've got the recipe for an unforgettable weekend.
