With only a couple more days left until its comeback, 2NE1 released another song teaser for the new single I Love You through YG Entertainment’s official blog on June 2.
The photo included in the teaser features the group’s leader, CL, lying on a bed of blue sheets, as she looks up with a longing expression on her face. On her finger is a distinct blue butterfly. 
The lyrics of teaser read, “Don’t stop the love song. I’ll sing for the handsome you every day.”
Unlike Go Away or I Don’t Care, I Love You whispers a love confession, differing from 2NE1’s usual style of being independent women who do not need men.
I Love You will be released on July 5, followed by a stage comeback on July 8 on SBS’ Inkigayo.
