Actress Ko So Young who has been in hiatus for quite a long while, is slated to make her comeback in a supporting role for SBS idol drama, ‘To The Beautiful You’.
It’s reported on the morning of June 8th that Ko So Young will be returning after an absence of 5 years away from the industry, having only been doing commercial shoots and of course her grand wedding to actor, Jang Dong Gun last year.
A SBS representative revealed, “We do have the intention of inviting Ko So Young to appear in the drama. Her role would be that of a director on the school board. From what I understand, Ko So Young’s side is also actively pursuing this opportunity in discussions. There are many details yet to be discussed so we can’t confirm her participation as yet.”
‘To The Beautiful You’ is an adaptation of the popular Japanese manga, ‘Hana Kimi’ and Korea will be the third country to have a live drama on it after Taiwan and Japan.
The drama will be directed by Jun Ki Sang and written by Lee Young Chul. Filming hasn’t officially begun but several cast members have already begin going over their scripts on June 7th at SBS’s drama production centre already.
