29 Apr – Anime Festival Asia (AFA) has announced their line-up of Japanese artists that would be making an appearance in the first AFA 2012 Malaysia.
According to JPopAsia, a total of 5 artists would be performing for the 'AFA 2012 Malaysia Super Anison Genki Live' during the two day festival that would be held at the Putra World Trade Centre on 9 and 10 June.
The artists that would be coming are Kotoko (Hayate the Combat Butler, Onegai Teacher, Shakugan no Shana), Flow (Naruto, Eureka Seven, Code Geas: Lelouch of the Rebellion), Maon Kurosaki (Highschool of the Dead), Kalafina (Kara no Kyokai) and Sea A.
Lauded as the largest anime convention in South East Asia, this is the first time it will be held in Malaysia after four years of it being held only in Singapore. AFA 2012 Singapore would be held sometime in November this year.
