    Aniu's marriage breakdown

10 FebKaty Perry's song title "Not Like the Movies", definitely sums up the wedding story of Malaysian star Aniu, whose current marital state is nothing like his idyllic wedded character in his newest film "The Wedding Diary", as reported by Daily Chilli.

The "Homecoming" star explained that, "My real life and reel life (marriage) are two different experiences. My real marriage was like a flash bulb. It happened too fast."

However, even when pressed further, Aniu declined to discuss his marital issues in public out of concern for his 11-year-old daughter, who is now being raised by his family in Penang and may face media scrutiny following this revelation.

"Please have mercy on me," he pleads, hands clasped.

Rumours have it that the gifted 36-year-old musician and his Taiwanese wife have been living apart for about two years now. The couple tied the knot in 2001 with only both their families attending, which is why they have managed to stay out of the media's attention till now.

"He won't talk about his marital problems because it's just too personal and too hurtful for his daughter," said his personal aide.

Putting Aniu aside, the Singapore-Malaysia feel-good romance comedy titled "The Wedding Diary" is directed by Adrian Teh, and stars Singaporean and Malaysian stars such as Elanne Kwong, Kara Hui, Jack Choo, Marcus Chin, Maggie Theng, Shaun Chen and Chris Tong.

"The Wedding Diary" is distributed by GSC, and opened in Malaysian and Singaporean cinemas on 9 February.

whoa, is this news?...or is it news worthy of a spot in Yahoo....these kinds of things happened everyday, to almost everyone who have long forgotten how to react to one's partner..what he should do is to see a shrink or for the both of them to see one and then get on with their lives or just get a life....don't pollute the pages of Yahoo with non-consequential reports about some not-so known celebs...

Women are like that de lah - men got money + power + influence they will surely stick with them.

Of course, unless we are talking cases like Hugh Hefner: one foot already in the coffin, and god-knows-what other part of his body also 'dead' and 'unworkable'. For this kind of case, not even with money + fame can retain the gurls beside you.

For Ah-Niu, he was once famous and well-to-do, earning good money with his albums and music, with his popularity propelling him to numerous shows and even movies/ drama serials.

However the moment the world gets tired of his simple and plain music, his fame shrinks so much that nobody bothers to even talk about him. That's where all the problems started coming out and affected his marriage.

So in conclusion: men MUST have money. The more the better. Women WILL be attracted to any man who has deep pockets. All the more better if you are rich AND powerful, holding good position in a company, and wielding considerable influence on others. WOMEN simply LLLLUUURRRVVVEEE men of position and authority.

This is the truth of ALL truths.
