Anna Kendrick worries what her mom would say when she spends “too much” on a dress.
The Twilight star showcases her talents in her latest big screen offerings, gritty drama End of Watch and musical comedy Pitch Perfect.
Despite her Hollywood lifestyle, the 27-year-old still finds spending a lot of money on clothes difficult to justify.
“If you grow up in a certain way, there’s a mental block on paying that much money on a dress you wear once,” she confessed to Elle magazine.
“Then I wonder, ‘What would my mom say?’”
The pretty actress has been busy promoting her latest movies and has worn some stunning gowns.
For the Pitch Perfect premiere in Hollywood, Anna wore a sparkling Zuhair Murad dress – but she still feels unsure on the red carpet.
“Mostly I have no idea what I’m doing,” she revealed.
“I don’t like photoshoots either, but I like them more as at least you’re playing a character. It’s very odd. I haven’t mastered it.”
