9 Sep – It was revealed that "K-Pop Star" second runner up Baek Ah-yeon will be the first to release a debut album among her fellow alumni.
As reported on Global Mnet website, her agency, JYP Entertainment revealed, "Baek Ah-yeon will be releasing her debut album in mid September and will begin her official promotional activities."
The rookie singer signed a contract with JYP Entertainment a few months after the conclusion of the SBS reality singing contest, together with the show's winner, Park Ji-min. Since then, Baek Ah-yeon has been training and preparing for her debut.
Meanwhile, the show's first runner-up Lee Ha-yi will be releasing a solo album as well as debut together with girl group SuPearls under YG Entertainment.
