Baek Ji Young’s ‘Voice’ Beats Out Taetiseo, IU on the Gaon Charts

Queen Baek Ji Young has beat out the princesses of Taetiseo and IU to reign on top this week’s Gaon chart.

According to Gaon’s weekly download ranking for the week of May 3, Baek Ji Young’s Voice took the top spot with 529,920 downloads. Voice is one of the songs included in Baek Ji Young’s newly-released mini album Good Boy.

The song reached first after ten days since its release.



IU’s self-composed song Peach was a distant second with 381,355 downloads while her title song Every End of the Day was fifth with 311,146 downloads.

Though Taetiseo’s Twinkle lost out to both IU and Baek Ji Young with 330,363 downloads, its combined downloads over the two weeks since its released was over 930,000 making it all but certain Twinkle will pass the one million mark next week.

Ulala Session’s debut song Beautiful Night finished in fourth place with 322,373 downloads.

In Gaon’s weekly album chart, EXO-K’s Mama came out on top again to win first place.
