21 Jul - Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu's husband Wang Xiaofei is facing a business crisis, which may lead to the closure of his Chinese-style restaurant named "South Beauty" in Taiwan.

According to various reports, The Lan Club, which is also run by Wang, has been auctioned off. However, Taiwanese media reported that a notice was posted on the The Lan Club stating that the auction is still ongoing.

Regarding this, Zhang Lan (Barbie Hsu's mother-in-law), who is also the founder of "South Beauty Group" and owner of "The Lan Club", denied that their businesses are in trouble.

She explained that the landlord was in debt with the bank, so the bank had auctioned off his property and it has nothing to do with their business.

Zhang, however, asked the reporter to talk to Wang if they need clarifications regarding the news about the closure of "South Beauty" in Shanghai.

When the reporter contacted Wang, he explained that the pay checks were delayed because his company has to remit money from China via Hong Kong to Taiwan.

"I believed this is the issue leading to the rumours that my restaurant may be closed, but the problem is now solved", he explained.
