Fashion magazine ‘HIGH CUT’ recently tagged along with the production team of SBS TV drama ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows’ to a ski resort park where they captured beautiful photos of the lead characters, Jo In Sung and Song Hye Gyo filming in the vast snowy landscape.
This particular scene was seen in episode 8 where Oh Soo (Jo In Sung) and Oh Young (Song Hye Gyo) had a snow escapade at the Yongpyong Ski Resort (1,450m above sea level) in Pyeongchang located in Gangwon Province. Conditions were extremely tough and challenging for the cast and production staff, with blustery cold winds enveloping them at the high altitude constantly. In one of the photos that was revealed, Jo In Sung could be seen cupping his face with his hands to keep warmth in between breaks during filming, with a smile on his face still.
After concluding the final scene at the mountain’s helipad, both Jo In Sung and Song Hye Gyo took a photo together to commemorate their filming. Jo In Sung who stood in the front role, went back to his student days as he posed with a wacky pose just like a student who was on a school excursion.
In the photos that showed them having a snowball fight, Jo In Sung was seen chasing Song Hye Gyo around and got hit directly by a snowball flung by him, and the sight was really one to be marvelled at. There was also a photo that sees them lying on the snow, posing with a victory sign, and their relationship was just as close like Oh Young and Oh Soo in the drama.
The full pictorial featuring behind the scenes of ‘That Winter, The Wind Blows’ will be published in issue 97 of ‘HIGH CUT’ and available for purchase from March 7th.
