Big Bang and Samsung to Work Together to Put on ′Alive Galaxy Tour 2012′

As one of the biggest stars in Korea and one of the biggest electronics company in the world, Big Bang and Samsung will work with each other to create a grand world tour.

Starting with the concert in Shanghai on July 21, Big Bang will be sponsored by Samsung to create an extraordinary performance that brings Big Bang’s trendy modern music together with Samsung’s smartphone capabilities.

The partnership will then continue onto Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, U.S, Peru, Brazil, and other countries in Europe, with Big Bang visiting 25 cities in 16 different countries.




“We’re very happy to be working with Samsung Electronics, who has set up the sturdy platform for hallyu and allowed Korea’s name be known to the entire world," said YG Entertainment.

“With this important World Tour testing out the durability of hallyu, the Big Bang members will be gaining more energy through Samsung’s support and are focused on sharing their skills to fans all around the world," said the rep.

Samsung Electronics representatives stated, “We came to the conclusion that this was a good opportunity to spread hallyu as well as directly meet with the youth market of the world with Big Bang through this Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012.”

They added, “This is not a one-time sponsorship, but a long-term support for the entire world tour, and with the collaboration between Big Bang and Samsung’s Galaxy, it will become a new cultural code to make our customers’ lives more full-filling.

“This tour will become the perfect partnership between Big Bang and Samsung, the two brands representing Korea," said Live Nation, the global promoter of Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour 2012.

“Live Nation is very excited to showcase Big Bang and Samsung to fans in Asia, Europe, and the Americas, and believe this tour will also upgrade Big Bang and Samsung to another level.”

Big Bang has currently completed concerts in six cities and will continue onto Shanghai China on July 21.
