Bruised and Battered Kim Hee Sun Continues to Give Her All for ′Faith′

Kim Hee Sun is literally throwing herself into her drama role.

Playing the role of Yoo Eun Soo, a modern-day doctor who is transported back to the time of the Goryeo Dynasty, Kim Hee Sun continues to receive praise from her drama set for her passionate acting.

Having to film a scene in which she is chased in the forest, Kim Hee Sun showed little signs of weariness despite having to shoot the scene in high heels, and later, barefoot.

Because of the rough terrain, Kim Hee Sun would often take a tumble or become hit by the objects around her leaving her hair a mess and bruises all over her body. But like the true actress she is, she made no complaints and continued to give her all until the scenes were successfully finished.




Faith also stars Lee Min Ho as a Goryeo Dynasty warrior and tells the story of how the two come to meet and fall in love while helping make the era’s king a true leader.

The drama premieres on August 13.
