Cecil Chao's bounty attracts Hollywood

14 Oct – The recent commotion involving Hong Kong billionaire playboy, Cecil Chao, his daughter and heiress, Gigi Chao, and her condemned lesbian partner, Sean Yeung, has attracted Hollywood enough to warrant a Sacha Baron Cohen movie entitled "The Lesbian" and a special feature about the controversial tycoon.

Hollywood Invasion recently reported that American Broadcasting Company (ABC) has sent their TV crews to chronicle Cecil Chao's day-to-day life while at the same time, expressing their interest in developing a movie about his modern family.

At the Hong Kong premiere of the film, "The Mousetrap", Chao, who attended the event without girlfriend Lena but in the company of two beautiful women, revealed that ABC's "20/20" is doing a special feature about his life and that the TV crews have been following him around.

When asked whether he was angry that "The Lesbian" will be based upon his daughter's love story, Chao said, "I am not angry. I think my daughter is very straight. Honestly, it's Gigi's choice, but Chinese people will not agree with her decision."

Cecil Chao continued, "It's not about acceptance but more towards the moral thinking. It's her business to choose what she wants to do, but I want to give her a few different options to choose from. If she decides to accept a man courting her, then it's her decision."

When asked about Gigi's lover, Sean Young, Cecil firmly stated, "I don't know this person and I have a right not to meet her."

In September, Cecil Chao caused a worldwide hullabaloo when he offered to pay 500 million dollars to find a potential husband for his daughter. The "marriage bounty" triggered after Gigi and her female partner Sean made their marriage announcement in September.
