20 Sep – K-Pop stars have charitable fan clubs and fans of Super Junior's Dong-hae are surely one of the more generous ones.
Kpopstarz website reported that fans of the Super Junior singer have donated five tons of rice to charity on behalf of the singer.
From 3 to 5 September, the rice – donated by fans in support of Dong-hae's latest drama, Channel A's "Miss Panda & Mr. Hedgehog", were offered to Seung-il Hope Foundation, an organisation that provides help and support patients with Lou Gehrig's Disease.
The 250 bags of rice – collected by thousands of domestic fans and fans from other countries such as Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam helped a total of 146 families over the past couple of days.
