Drew Barrymore charms during Hilfiger shoot

Drew Barrymore was "very charming" on the set of Tommy Hilfiger's charity project.

The Hollywood star and Charlotte Gainsbourg have collaborated with the American designer to promote the label's latest limited-edition handbag.

While Charlotte was chosen as the face of the campaign - which is being launched to raise money for charity Breast Health International - Drew took on the role of photographer.

Charlotte was thrilled to be directed by the star.

"It was great to work with Drew," she gushed in an interview with vogue.co.uk. "She was very charming and lively and funny, and she brought really positive energy to the set. As a fellow actress, she made me feel very comfortable during the shoot."

Charlotte insists the charity will resonate with a multitude of people.

The 41-year-old French actress was eager to support such an important cause.

"We all know someone, whether it's a family member or a friend of a friend, who has been affected by breast cancer," she explained.

"Whenever a disease like this hits close to home, it definitely changes your outlook. It really motivates you, on a personal level, to take action."

A percentage of each bag sold will go towards the international charity.
