Elizabeth Hurley's hairdresser has revealed his top tips to creating a perfect quiff.
The retro hairstyle has been seen on a host of stars of late, including Nicole Scherzinger, Pink and Demi Lovato.
Richard Ward - who counts British beauty Elizabeth among his celebrity clientele - has given a step-by-step guide to achieving the classic '50s 'do.
"This quiff works best with day-old hair, as it helps the finished style grip better. Start by applying a smoothing serum through the ends and mid-lengths of the hair. This will tame flyaway hairs and leave your tresses super-sleek, glossy and protected from heat styling," he told British magazine Heat.
Richard says clipping and brushing is a big part of creating the style. He advises taking a triangular section at the top of your head, before moving it backwards to the top of your crown.
"Once created, clip the section to one side," he continued, before adding: "Using a bristle paddle brush, comb the rest if your hair into a slick ponytail, securing in place with a hairband."
The hair pro also revealed that curling the triangular section with a large curling wand is important as it gives the section "strength" to hold it in place.
Lastly, Richard advises securing it with "plenty of kirby grips" and finishing with "lots of hairspray".
