HITT is now I.M.U

3 May – After losing two of its members last March, HITT revealed that they would be returning with a new line-up and a new name, I.M.U.

As reported on Koreaboo website, their agency, Jay.K Entertainment revealed the first of three new members who will be joining original members (Jun-taek, Hyun-jun, U-ram and Jae-hoon). They also revealed that HITT will be returning with a new group name, I.M.U. – an abbreviation for "Inspire Music Unit".

On 1 May, I.M.U introduced their first new member – 19-year-old Jo Sung-jin who was a previous contestant in tvN's "Oh! Boy" competition. Sung-jin will be one of their vocalists and also the junior in the group.

In late March, the six-member group had to let go two members – Ho-won who went on to continue his studies, while leader Ha-yong was diagnosed with symptoms of a degenerating spinal disk which require further treatment.
