27 Sep – It was revealed that actor Jang Hyuk has made into the list of potential male leads for the sequel of the hit TV drama, "Iris".
According to Global Mnet website, the drama's production company, Taewon Entertainment was rumoured to have offered the lead role to "Deep Rooted Tree" actor, Jang Hyuk who is currently considering the project in a positive light.
An inside source revealed that although no official contract has been signed, Jang Hyuk's casting is apparently at the final stage.
Meanwhile, another source stated, "Jang Hyuk is one of the few actors that have both star quality and great acting chops. Thus, he is a very good choice to play the main character of "Iris 2"."
Scheduled to air for next February, "Iris 2" is a sequel to the Lee Byung-hun hit TV drama that was aired back in 2009.
