Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck have “gotten better” at marriage.
The actress spoke fondly of her relationship with the Hollywood hunk and explained that after eight years as a couple, they have mastered living and co-parenting together.
The pair started dating in 2004 after meeting on the set of Daredevil and got married in 2005, with children Violet, six, Seraphina, three, and Samuel, five months, following.
"[We have] gotten better at it [marriage]. It's really fun,” she told USA Today. “I probably am up in his grill less about stuff. I don't think I'm a particularly controlling person, but I probably work less to make things fit a mould in my head. And he exceeds my expectations anyway."
Jennifer also spoke about motherhood.
The star is known for her down-to-earth nature and can often be seen out and about enjoying quality time with her brood.
However, she admits that she struggled to adjust to motherhood after her first daughter was born.
She explained that it was those initial challenges that made her want to play the part of Cindy Green in upcoming movie The Odd Life of Timothy Green, a woman desperate to become a mother who is unexpectedly blessed with a child.
"[Like Cindy] I also floundered so much in the beginning. Now I just have crazy, crazy baby love," she said. "My husband says that I'm different with him [my son], but I think I've always been crazy about babies. But he thinks that. What does he know?"
