11 May – After releasing a teaser that hinted about a new group called "JJ Project", JYP Entertainment have finally revealed the identities of its members.
As reported on Jpopasia, JJ Project is composed of two singers - JB (Lim Jae-beom) and Jr. (Park Jin-young). Both singers became JYP trainees in 2009 through JYP's 5th audition and have made their debut through KBS' "Dream high 2".
A representative of JYP Entertainment stated, "We believe JYP Entertainment's new project JJ will be the most pleasant and exciting project that JYP has ever done. Please continue to look forward to JYP's 'jackpot' JJ Project."
JB played the leader of the boy band in "Dream High 2", while Jr. played the role of the group's back dancer. JYPE also revealed that the latter is called Jr. as he has the same full name with the CEO himself, J.Y. Park.
