25 Jul – Following the success of JYJ's "Membership Week", JYP Entertainment is following suit by announcing their first "Fan's Day" event.
Slated to be held from 3 to 5 August at the Seoul's Platoons Kunsthalle, Global Mnet website reported that the agency's objective of the event is to show their appreciation for their fans.
Representatives of JYP Entertainment stated, "The event will feature a number of special exhibits of fan arts, stage concepts outfits and exclusive photos and videos of JYP Entertainment's artistes." They added, "There are also several contests such as a dance cover and we also plan for a surprise event."
The agency also stated that they have decided to plan the event in hoping to have a closer interaction with their fans and hopes that the event will be a good place for their stars and the fans to meet.
Earlier in July, CJeS Entertainment trio, JYJ successfully held a "JYJ Membership Week" and received a lot of commendation from South Korea's Ministry of Tourism for bringing in revenues from the visiting Japanese fans.
Free tickets for JYP Entertainment's "Fan's Day" will be released on 25 July.
