3 Oct – Model Kathy Chow had recently married her 35-year old wealthy French boyfriend Julien Lepeu in France.
According to Groove Asia website, the 38-year-old held her fairy tale wedding at an ancient castle, Chateau Diter, but not without the traditional Chinese ceremonies.
It was revealed that a traditional tea ceremony was held in the afternoon, where the couple knelt down and gave their parents tea before the new Mrs. Lepeu changed into a red evening dress designed by famous designer Barney Cheng to substitute the traditional Qipao attire.
The newlyweds also held an all-white Welcoming Party in the evening, but changed the location to a restaurant by the sea called "L'Ecrin" due to the rainy weather. They also invited two buskers to sing French love songs while the guests had dinner.
Kathy received at least 10 heavy golden bracelets and two golden necklaces, much to husband Julien's delight – who then wittily commented, "We're rich! It's such an honour to have married this wife!"
