Kathy Chow not returning to TVB for the money

18 Oct – Actress Kathy Chow recently denied rumours that she has decided to make a comeback with TVB after being offered a higher salary.

According to Asian Crunch website, at the costume fitting session for her new TVB drama "Sniper Attack 2013", Kathy Chow told media, "Actually TVB has been offering me roles in new dramas every year, but since this time the story is really good and my co-stars are my old partners Eddie Cheung and Michael Tse, (I decided to accept). We all know each other well and it's a modern series. If it was a costume series, then I would have said no."

However, it turns out that the actress has yet to sign the contract with TVB. Chow stated, "I'm still discussing with TVB, still haven't signed yet, but it's not a monetary issue. We are still discussing the other contract terms and I'll leave it to my manager to handle it."

TVB has been busy casting veteran actors after facing threats from new television station, CTI and other Mainland production companies that have been 'poaching' their big stars. These veterans include stars like Bobby Au Yeung, Francis Ng and Esther Kwan – and the latest one is "In the Chamber of Bliss" actress, Kathy Chow.
