8 July – It was revealed that SBS' "K-Pop Star" alumna, Kim Na-yoon, will be signing a contract with SISTAR's agency.
Koreaboo reported that on 5 July, a source stated that the 16-year-old American-based singer will be finalising her exclusive contract with Starship Entertainment.
When asked about the truth of this rumour, Starship Entertainment revealed, "Kim Na-yoon's contract is being positively reviewed. The contract hasn't been finalised yet but it should be signed soon."
Kim Na-yoon garnered much attention in the show with her adorable look and piano-playing skills. However, she was eliminated during the eighth round of the show.
Starship Entertainment's resident stars include the group SISTAR, Boyfriend and singer K.Will.
