9 Feb – It was confirmed that actors Kim Ha-neul and Jang Dong-gun will play the leads for upcoming SBS drama "A Gentleman's Dignity".
According to Koreaboo website, the "You're My Pet" actress stated, "I'm so glad to have gotten the chance to work with "On Air" screenwriter Kim Eun-sook and director Shin Woo-chul again."
Jang Dong-gun added, "I was busy with my movie activities in China, but the crew of "A Gentleman's Dignity" reworked the schedules to fit with mine. I was able to decide on this drama because of my trust in the script and the crew."
Written by "Secret Garden's" screenwriter Kim Eun-sook, the drama first made headlines by casting Korea's top actor Jang Dong-gun whose last drama appearance was 12 years ago. The drama is also Kim Ha-neul's first drama since 2010 and the second time she works with Kim Eun-sook after "On Air" in 2008.
"A Gentleman's Dignity" will tell the love story of four good-looking, single men in their forties. Kim Su-ro, Kim Min-jong, Yoon Se-ah, Kim Min, and others will join Kim Ha-neul and Jang Dong-gun in the series.
"A Gentleman's Dignity" will air this coming May.
