20 Jun – It was reported that SBS' "K-Pop Star" contestant Kim Woo-sung has recently signed on to become the resident star of Polaris Entertainment.
According to HelloKpop, a representative of A Polaris Entertainment explained the reason of their choice, saying, "We decided to sign Kim Woo-sung due to his unique voice and star quality as well as his high potential as a singer. Although he didn't make it into the top 10 on 'K-Pop Star', we looked favourably upon his talents and skills."
The official added that Kim will make his debut after various training and practice system applied in the agency.
During his time in the SBS singing competition, Kim Woo-sung was recognised as a multi-talented contestant with a unique voice and handsome face. He was a strong contender for the top ten but failed the battle audition and was not able to join the others on the big stage.
Kim will join other Polaris Entertainment stars in the likes of singers Kim Bum-soo and Ivy.
