Leader's to make an October comeback

27 Jul - Despite nearly being cancelled last year, it was revealed that the 24-member girl group, Leader's are planning for a comeback in October.

According to Kpopstarz website, after last year's mishaps, the group – known as the "Korean AKB48", have reassembled new members and have gained new sponsors in order to hold their comeback stage. A representative of their agency, TNG Entertainment stated, "We have been holding numerous auditions for new members and they are currently making their own girl group image."

The agency added, "Leader's are planning to show off each of their own styles and personalities."

In early 2011, girl group Leader's made their debut with the single "Please" as a 7-member group before emerging as an 8-member group for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics single "Korea Olympics". On 27 October of the same year, their agency revealed that the group will expand into a 24-member group and will form an 8-member unit for a total of 3 teams: Leader's T, Leader's G, and Leader's N.

However, the group was nearly dismantled when some of the members were allegedly acting rude at an event. To add insult to injury, their investors called it quits and one of the units decided to leave the group.
