A press conference for current MBC weekend drama, ‘Dr Jin’ took place on the afternoon of July 5th where Lee Bum Soo exclaimed, “Fans of Kim Jaejoong often scold me”, leaving many to chuckle at his remarks, while Jaejoong later took to Twitter to console his senior.
The press conference held at the Ansan studios in Gyeonggi-do included cast members like Song Seung Hun, Park Min Young, Lee Bum Soo, Kim Jaejoong, Lee So Yeon and many more as they entertained questions from the media.
As the conference neared the end, Lee Bum Soo revealed that he had been the subject of many hate messages directed at him by Jaejoong’s fans at the drama’s website.
The reason being that in recent episodes, the story had been focusing on Lee Ha Eung (Lee Bum Soo) and thus seen a reduction in scenes for Kim Kyung Tak played by Jaejoong.
Jaejoong was full of apologies as he told his fans, “Please don’t treat my senior like this.”
Despite getting scolded, Lee Bum Soo was full of praise for Jaejoong’s acting, “Kim Jaejoong has been very diligent in learning acting, and has improved a lot. He is also able to translate his emotions very well and is very focused during filming. So I give him very high marks for that.”
After the conference, Jaejoong told Lee Bum Soo, “Senior, I will do my best!”
Although ‘Dr. Jin’ marks Jaejoong’s first attempt at a sageuk drama, but it’s heartening to hear praises about his acting from his seniors. So fans, besides supporting your idol, you should also respect and support the other cast members who have worked just as hard!
