Lee Hyo-ri's new album out early 2013

12 Oct – Fans of the sultry singer, Lee Hyo-ri, can now rest assured. It was recently revealed that the singer will be focusing on her comeback album after a three-year hiatus.

According to JpopAsia, after the last recording of her show, SBS' "You and I" on 9 October, Lee Hyo-ri planned to work hard on her album comeback. A representative of her agency revealed, "We are planning to choose the songs that will be on the album and shift to work actively on her comeback."

The news came after it was revealed that "You and I", the SBS show hosted by Lee Hyo-ri and her best friend Jung Jae-hyung has been cancelled. The show, launched in February 2012, was unable to bring in steady viewer ratings during its midnight airtime on Sundays, which caused SBS to pull the plug.

The final episode of "You and I" will air on 14 October with guests K.Will, Shin Chi Rim (Yoon Jong-shin, Jo Jung-chi and Harim), and indie band Mongoose.

With the end of "You and I", Lee Hyo-ri will be giving full attention to her new album, scheduled for release in early 2013.
