Lee Jung-shin to debut in "My Daughter So-young"

9 Aug – It was revealed that CNBLUE member Lee Jung-shin will be making his acting debut by participating in the KBS upcoming drama, "My Daughter So-young".

According to Koreaboo website, the group's agency, FNC Entertainment confirmed the news, saying, "Lee Jung-shin will appear on the KBS new weekend drama, "My Daughter So-young."

They added, "Please give Lee Jung-shin your support to start his acting career following other members, Jung Yong-hwa, Lee Jong-hyun and Kang Min-hyuk."

It was revealed that the group's bassist will be taking on a role that was earlier offered to and declined by MBLAQ's Lee Joon.

Written by SO Hyun-kyung of "49 Days" fame and to be helmed by "Master Study" director, Yoo Hyun-ki, "My Daughter So-young" is a story about a daughter and father who have a close yet distant relationship.

Earlier, it was reported that MBLAQ's Lee Joon was offered the role. However, due to his busy schedule, the singer had to decline his participation.

The drama is scheduled to air after "Unexpected You" on 15 September.
