Ahead of his impending enlistment at the end of the month, Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk successfully completed his last overseas performance through Mnet ‘M Countdown’ on October 11th.
Instead of their usual weekly music chart show, Mnet aired ‘One Asia Tour 2012 M Countdown Smile Thailand’ which was held in Thailand in its place.
Super Junior was the last to perform on the day as they performed ‘SPY’ and ‘Sexy, Free & Single’ for the local fans who shrieked with cheers at every opportunity.
As their performances concluded, Leeteuk expressed, “Today’s performance will be my final overseas activity. I have to complete what I have to do, so let’s meet again in 2 years’ time,” reminding fans of his impending enlistment.
Upon seeing Leeteuk unwilling to leave the stage, Kangin and Shindong swooped in and tore up his shirt, exposing his solid abs. Although Leeteuk was caught off-guard by their antics, he continued to put on a smile and bowed to thank fans for their support.
Leeteuk will be enlisting on October 30th at Uijeongbu 306 reserve army unit. He will receive 5 weeks of basic military training before beginning his active solider stint for the next 21 months.
