15 Aug – It was revealed that actress Moon Geun-young has been offered a role as the lead actress in an upcoming SBS drama, "Cheongdamdong Alice".
Korea.com reported that a representative from SBS Drama Department remarked, "We're currently discussing about casting Moon Geun-young for "Cheongdamdong Alice". We have yet to decide about it but it is true we offered her the role."
Meanwhile, the actress' agency, Namoo Actors stated that the rumour of Moon receiving an offer from the drama to be true. However, the actress has yet to make any decision regarding the role.
SBS' "Cheongdamdong Alice" is based on the novel "Cheongdamdong Oduri" and will be aired starting from December.
