Bask in the gorgeous setting at MU Parlour
The new addition to the busy enclave of Holland Village, MU Parlour takes a tri-throng approach in serving up a good gastro experience – food, art and music.
A white-washed space peppered with dashes of crimson cushions and brown wrought iron furniture, not to mention the numerous paintings that line the walls, MU Parlour looks as if it walked right out of a showroom catalogue. Emphasis is also placed on piping good music from their speakers and of course, handmade gastronomic delights.
Chuck down the MU's Burger No.1 with load of fries
You can expect a range of gourmet burgers and tea-infused cocktails. The patties are chilled, never frozen and they are hand-formed daily. The sauces too are handmade from scratch. There’s the Burger No. 1, Monterey Jack, Streaky Bacon, Gherkin 15 at $15. Also look out for their Spiced Kandy cocktail ($17), a concoction of ceylon, carribean spiced rum, grape fruit and elderflower.

Patrons are also encouraged to ‘have a piece of MU’, as majority of the pre-loved furniture (those beauties you’ll be sitting on are second hand finds!) are up for sale. As for the ear worms, the set list revolves around down-tempo electronica grooves, funk and nu jazz and guest musical acts even.
