12 Oct – Yes. There will be a comeback. That is what actor-singer Nicky Wu told the media recently regarding his trio, The Little Tigers.
Popular Asians reported that earlier, rumours surfaced that the group will be holding 15 performances in the course of three months in 2013 to celebrate the group's 25th anniversary. However, according to group member Julian Cheng, this was not the case as he himself has yet to hear about it.
It was also rumoured that the event company hosting the performances will be paying the more popular Wu four times the remuneration the other two members will get, causing a conflict within the group.
However, at the 3rd Annual Letv.com Awards in Shanghai recently, Wu refuted both rumours, stating that they are currently discussing the group's comeback. The actor, who won "The Year's Most Influential Male Actor" at the event, also denied the dispute over payment, saying that each member will be treated equally and no favouritism will be involved.
The Little Tigers was established in 1988 with three members – Nicky Wu, Alec Su and Julian Chen. With the group nearing its 25th anniversary, The Little Tigers are planning to celebrate it with a big reunion concert tour in 2013.
