Official Movie Poster for Joo Ji Hoon’s ‘I Am the King’ Revealed

Joo Ji Hoon is back in one movie and two roles.

The official movie poster for Joo Ji Hoon’s upcoming I Am the King was released recently.

The haggardly servant Deok Chil (Joo Ji Hoon) is seen sitting on the floor grinning while clutching the king’s official headdress. The supporting actors of the movie including Kim Soo Ro, Lim Won Hee, Park Young Kyu and more can be seen behind him donning a wide range of facial expressions from shock to disbelief.




The movie is a Korean twist on the fable, ‘The Prince and the Pauper’ and tells the story of how Sejong the Great (Joo Ji Hoon), in his youth, who tries to avoid the ascension to the throne and comes across Deok Chil as the two comes to switch places.

Joo Ji Hoon’s comeback movie will feature the actor playing the dual roles of both the king and the beggar.

I Am the King will premiere in August.
