15 Oct – It was revealed that the upcoming "Young and Dangerous: Reloaded" star, Oscar Leung has recently invested around HKD 1.7 million in opening a dim sum restaurant.
According to Popular Asians website, the 33-year-old actor is reported to have opened the restaurant with a close friend on Hak Po Street, Mongkok.
"Opening a restaurant has always been my dream and I hope that I will be able to save more money to expand the business even further." Said Oscar.
The actor continued, "I want to own a 'private kitchen' in the future and to be able to cook my own dishes for guests every night. I also hope that I will get the chance to study at the Chinese Cuisine Training Institute in the future and learn the real deal!"
The actor is not a rookie in the restaurant business, having previously worked as a waiter at his cousin's cafe prior to acting. When asked about his views about celebrities opening a business, Leung stated, "The good thing is that business will thrive. However, the negative side of it is that if a celebrity gets negative press, it will also negatively affect the business. I will be extra careful in caring for this restaurant."
