Park Yoo Chun to Serve as Public Service Worker on Later Date

JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun is to serve as a public service worker for his military duties due to his asthma.


A rep from Park Yoo Chun’s agency C-JeS Entertainment told enews on May 3, “Park Yoo Chun received his physical examination three times, and he was categorized as a rank 4 reserve because of his asthma.” As such, Park Yoo Chun will be serving not on active duty, but as a public service worker.

Park Yoo Chun received his draft notice saying he would be drafted on May 21, but he will be applying for a postponement as he must finish shooting SBS’ Rooftop Prince. The drama is due to end on May 24, three days after the date he is to be drafted.

The rep added, “The draft said May 21, but we will be pushing the date back because of his drama shoots. Nothing has been confirmed on when he will be enlisting in the future.”
