Collaborations are not a novelty in music, and to be honest, whittling down the list of K-Pop collabs for this week’s poll proved to be pretty difficult because there were simply too many to choose from.
But what makes a collaboration truly special is the unexpected mash up of musical, and in some cases, not-at-all-musical, personalities.
As such, we’ve rounded up a mix of some fan favorites and a few underrated K-Pop combos (we even included a throwback), but we want to know which collaboration you consider to be the most epic.
My Ear’s Candy - Baek Ji Young (Feat. Taecyeon)
What happens when a ballad queen and idol rapper take on techno? My Ear’s Candy.
After making her mark as the queen of ballads through the release of a string of heart wrenching songs about heartbreak, Baek Ji Young proved she could still bust a move with 2009 hit My Ear’s Candy, an uptempo dance track featuring 2PM’s Taecyeon.
The mix of elements was so bizarre, it actually worked.

Banmal Song - CN Blue’s Jung Yong Hwa & SNSD’s Seohyun
What do we love more than celebrity couples? Fake idol couples singing cute, acoustic love songs together. Enter the YongSeo couple’s Banmal Song
The song, written and composed by We Got Married couple Jung Yong Hwa and Seohyun, perfectly captures the essence of one the cutest—albeit virtual—idol couples in TV history.

Let’s Dance - Future Liger
Ever wonder what would happen if a Tiger and a Grasshopper were to meet in the recording studio? Because we did. And apparently what happens is a lot of good.
MBC variety program Infinity Challenge has brought comedians and musicians together and produced a number of hit songs through its West Coast Highway Song Festival, but the coming together of Korea’s favorite Grasshopper Yoo Jae Suk and hip hop couple Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae for track Let’s Dance proved to be genius.

The Leaders - G-Dragon, CL and Teddy
YG Family is all about mixing and matching its artists on various collaboration tracks, but our favorite, by far, is G-Dragon and CL’s The Leaders.
The biggest personalities in idol-dom came together on one aptly-titled track and the result was explosive.
The only thing that would’ve made the track better was if 1TYM leader Teddy dropped a verse. Oh wait, he does.

Triangle - TVXQ (Feat. BoA and The Trax)
Finally, on our quest to find the most epic K-Pop collaboration, we came across this gem of a throwbock.
Remember the days before Girls’ Generation and Super Junior when BoA was the princess of SM (she has since been crowned queen) and the TVXQ members were the (only) princes?
Let us remind you in this old school collaboration clip of TVXQ and BoA performing Tri-Angle from TVXQ’s 2004 debut album.
You′ve heard why we think these collaborations are noteworthy, but which do you think stands out the most? Let us know by voting!
