15 Aug – In celebration of Seo Taiji and Boys 20th anniversary since their debut, fans of the singer planned a special choir for the big day.
As reported on Koreaboo website, on April, a special choir group called "Seo Taiji Choir" was organised by the singer's fans and an official performance was held at the Sadang Cultural Centre in Seoul on 18 August – sponsored by Yonseo Digital Conservatory and Sound Cat. The group was revealed to have created a medley out of Seo Taiji's hit songs and called it, "A harmony for Seo Taiji in celebration of his 20th anniversary."
Meanwhile, Seo Taiji recently posted on his website, stating, "I don't know why but today, I feel as happy and as excited as I was during my debut when I was 20-years-old. I wish to feel like this forever and I hope that music can be a comfort for each other in this cold-hearted world."
In addition to the choir, fans of the singer also opened a digital archive of their "idol" to celebrate the 20th anniversary, as well as a fund-raising campaign and a Seo Taiji Forest in Brazil to raise awareness on environmental issues.
