13 Oct – Rumour has it that SM Entertainment's CEO, Lee Soo-man, is in negotiations to sign top host Yu Jae-suk with his subsidiary company, SM C&C.
As reported on Allkpop, a source in the broadcast industry stated that in September, Lee Soo-man made a personal phone call to Yoo Jae-suk in order to set up a private meeting.
The source stated that the two were not having light-hearted conversations but a serious meeting, with Lee intending to recruit Yu Jae-suk to join his agency.
However, when asked about the meeting, a representative of SM Entertainment denied rumours of the offer. The rep stated, "We did want to recruit Yu Jae-suk, but that was a long time ago."
If the alleged meeting ended with a fruitful result, SM C&C would be housing all of South Korea's top TV personalities, including Kang Ho-dong, Lee Soo-geun, Shin Dong-yup, Kim Byung-man and Jun Hyun-moo.
