Snooki was terrified to tell her father she was pregnant.
The reality TV star and her fiancé Jionni LaValle are expecting their first child in September. The 24-year-old can’t wait to become a mother but admits telling her family the news was nerve-wracking.
“Oh, I was scared to tell my dad, of course!” she laughed to People.
“[My dad] is excited now. I think [my parents] are more excited than we are. I'm their only child and this is going to be their [first] grandchild.”
Snooki – real name Nicole Polizzi – knew Jionni was her soul mate after releasing he was her best friend as well as her boyfriend.
“I've never had that with anyone except Jionni, so I put two and two together and figured he's definitely The One,” she said.
She always knew they would have children, but didn’t expect to start a family so soon.
Snooki added she may do a new reality show once she is a mom.
“As long as [Jionni's] comfortable with everything, I would,” she said. “If not, I might have to step back a little. Now we have a child so there are other factors involved.”
