Stone and Garfield ‘canoodle at awards’

Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone “couldn’t keep their hands off each other” at the Tony Awards.

The Hollywood stars have been dating for around two years, after starring together in The Amazing Spider-Man. The couple were spotted in the audience at the Beacon Theatre in New York City on Sunday night and were clearly very much in love.

“Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield treated the 66th Tony Awards like a date night… The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other, whispering sweet nothings, giggling, stealing kisses and chatting throughout the show,” reports New York Post.

Andrew was nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Play for the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller’s Death of a Salesman.

Before the prestigious event – which celebrates excellence in Broadway theatre - Emma and Andrew were seen enjoying brunch at Cookshop in Chelsea. They left the eatery at 4pm and returned to their hotel to get ready for the awards ceremony.

Andrew has revealed he and Emma experienced chemistry from the moment they started working together.

“She screen tested with me and it was really just a beautiful day of… like a spark and we just had a fun time really and we played,” Andrew told Access Hollywood. “It was playful.”

Andrew plays Peter Parker/ Spider-Man in the hotly-anticipated superhero movie, while Emma is his love interest Gwen Stacy.
