8 Sep – After Hwa-young's recent Twitter updates about the state of T-ARA's controversy, it was revealed that the members of T-ARA have decided to write their own letter of apology.
According to Kpopstarz website, the group released a handwritten apology to fans in regards to the bullying controversy, stating as below:
"We've written this after a lot of thought. The past month has felt much longer than our trainee days and the days we've promoted to gain fans' love. Firstly, we would like to sincerely apologise for distressing and disappointing so many people."
They continued, "It was very foolish of us to not have resolved differences of opinion between ourselves in private, but to air our personal issues for the public to see. We're reflecting deeply on our actions."
They also apologised for their thoughtless acts and reflected how all of it can be avoided if they have acted maturely. The group added, "When we look back, we all worked hard together for the same dream and overcame obstacles, and it was really painful to see all the good times we've had together being cast in a negative light."
Regarding Hwa-young, the members stated, "We think Hwa-young has been going through a very hard time after she was being misunderstood to be alienated. We were surprised by the outcome and we're disappointed that we can't all be together now," and stated that they hope that Hwa-young will no longer have to face such disappointments again.
They apologised again, saying, "We feel that this hard time has been a lesson for us. We're supposed to give people strength, and we've now learned how much responsibility is on our shoulders. We've also realised that we must act responsibly and seriously."
Lastly, the group wrote, "We hope that all of you can give your support and love to Hwa-young, who must be having a harder time than we are. We too will always support Hwa-young. From all of T-ARA."
