11 Jun – After two years of battling accusations and court trial, it was revealed that the nine members of Tajinyo - the group that demanded the truth regarding Tablo's Stanford University degree, have been sentenced to jail.
As reported on YG United website, the Seoul Central District Court sentenced the nine members from Tajinyo a total of eleven years in jail, with the highest sentence at two years and six months.
It was revealed that on the said date, Tablo's lawyers were able to present 170 pieces of evidence against the group. Tajinyo then beg for leniency, insisting that they have never intended to defame the singer and his family. The clemency however was denied and the prosecution insisted on a strict penalty for the severity of the crime.
The court will be giving their final verdict on 6 July.
