The “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR” as organized by the Korean record label SM kicked off in Los Angeles two days ago, attracting thousands of American fans to the concert.
Many of the artists under SM performed at the event, including BOA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(X), EXO and many more. The musicians had LA fans going crazy with not only their own songs, but also a few American numbers - Super Juniour’s Cho Kyu Hyun sang Bruno Mars’ “Just the Way You Are”, whilst SHINee’s Key, f(X)’s Amber and EXO’s Kris performed Far East Movement’s “Like a G6”.
This concert in LA marked the beginning of the “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR”, attracting big names like Quincy Jones, The Underdogs and many famous composers, lyricists and producers. Even Simon Curt, who earlier revealed that he was a fan of Girls’ Generation, was also present at the show.
The “SMTOWN LIVE WORLD YOUR” will move onto different stations in the coming days. Subsequent concerts will take place on the 4th June, 4-5th August and finally 8th of August in Taipei, Tokyo and Seoul respectively.
