‘Top Gear Korea’ Holds a Luxurious Drag Race Worth 1,500,000,000 Won

Always exhibiting freshness and intensity with each episode, XTM’s Top Gear Korea 2 will be holding a luxurious drag race.


On May 6, Top Gear Korea 2 will be showing a drag race between a Rolls-Royce Ghost and a Rolls-Royce Phantom.

Upon personally driving a Rolls-Royce, MC Cho Min Gi said, “As I opened the door like it was a carriage and looked inside, I had to wonder just how much careful consideration was put into this car. I was very impressed of the pride that this car had even after a hundred years.”

He added, “I’m also very excited for the race between Rolls-Royce’s entry model, ‘Ghost’ and the flagship model, ‘Phantom.’ The price of both cars combined is 1,500,000,000 won.”

Seo Seung Hwan, the producer for Top Gear Korea 2 said, “This kind of competition can only be seen on Top Gear Korea 2. If you don’t watch it, you’ll regret it. Because it’s a prized car that many want to possess but can’t, we plan on showing all of the Rolls-Royce’s charms.

The production team said, adding to the anticipation, “It doesn’t matter which car wins the race, but the enjoyment that will make your mouth drop with the cars we carefully prepared will be enough.”

Meanwhile, on this broadcast during Danny An’s ‘Star Wrap Time,’ there will be a competition between Hyundai’s Veloster Turbo and BMW’s MINI Cooper S.
