17 Sep – Not long after announcing her breakup with actor Ron Ng and newfound relationship with Li Chen, rumour has it that Chinese model-actress Viann Zhang has broken up with the latter 20 days into their relationship, Jayne Stars website reported.
However, despite the rumour of their short-lived relationship, Li Chen's manager revealed that he didn't know the truth about the buzz and where the rumour originated. His manager stated, "Li Chen had just returned from New York and is currently in Xinjiang. He has not seen Viann Zhang since the heart-shaped stone matter in August."
The heart-shaped stone backlash started when Zhang posted a photo of the said stone on her Weibo, enthusing that Li Chen found it and brought it at home, and stated that she hoped their relationship will withstand all tests, "...unlike a glass heart" – prompting criticism from Li Chen's fans.
Various rumours have been going around about the two soon after they announced their relationship. It was stated that both Viann Zhang and Li Chen went through a huge fight about their very public relationship and that the actor was unable to forget his ex-girlfriend, Zhao Zhounuo – with whom he reportedly proposed to before their breakup.
