Vinnie Jones is “embarrassed and very sorry” for cheating on his wife.
The British actor was kicked out by his wife Tanya last night after she found out he had been unfaithful with 26-year-old Russian Lama Safonova.
This followed a video showing The Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star kissing Lama being leaked on a celebrity website yesterday.
“I am humiliated, embarrassed and very sorry. I was totally set up at 2am in the morning when leaving a party,” Vinnie declared to British newspaper The Sun. “I totally love my wife Tanya and my two children.”
The 47-year-old former soccer star was visiting Moscow in Russia for the filming of a documentary when the incident occurred.
Friends close to him explained that Vinnie had consumed a lot of alcohol prior to the incident.
“She was coming on to him strongly and, in the state he was in, he gave in to temptation. Tanya is utterly devastated and doesn’t want to see him,” a friend revealed. “Vinnie loves her to bits and knows he’s been a fool. He is desperate for her to forgive him.”
